RUCKUS / How it works
How it works.
Six stages in the order they happen, the money path, and the fires you hear about within 24 hours. The long version with all twelve steps is on the blog.
Your campaign funds never pass through us.
Most clipping operators take the budget, keep a cut and pay the rest out. RUCKUS is built the other way round, and the shape is the guarantee.
Your account, your cap, your cancel
The campaign lives in your own Content Rewards organization. You set the rate per 1,000 views and a hard ceiling the spend cannot pass, and you can pause or cancel without asking us.
Someone in the queue, twice a day
An unattended campaign hands every approval to the platform's own clock. Ours are read before and after the school day, inside a published 24-hour window, and every denial ships with a written reason.
A report of facts, bad news first
Views at fixed days, the platform's decision on each clip, whether it is still live at day 30, and whether its disclosure is still there. Public views and payable views never get added together.
The six stages.
In the order they happen. All twelve steps, with what you do and what we do →
Terms and the fee
A one-page agreement: scope, fee basis, deposit, refunds, unspent budget, fraud voids and the disclosure duty. Nothing gets configured until the fee clears.
Day 0Your organization and the source pack
You fund your own Content Rewards organization. We study what you run and build a curated pack with a source log: where each clip came from, the permission behind it, and any claim a clip must never make.
Days 1 to 3The brief, in the platform's own fields
Four questions and three reference clips. The disclosure wording, each platform's paid-content tool, an 18+ line, no bought views, the footage-rights line, and the not-affiliated line wherever GTA appears, all where the platform can read them. The campaign's mode is set here too: public, application-only or private, and pre-approval if you want every raw file reviewed before it is posted.
Days 3 to 5Launch and review
We announce it to the network. Every submission gets a decision inside a published 24-hour window, with a specific reason on every denial. Fraud and theft get fast bans.
LiveThe Friday report
Views, pacing against budget, the top clips and a per-clip sheet, bad news first. Any fire reaches you within 24 hours of us noticing it.
Every FridayThe checks after the paid window
Disclosure re-checked at day 7 and 14, every approved clip re-checked at day 14 and 30, then the final verification report and two debrief questions.
Days 14 to 30
What you hear about within 24 hours.
The fires list. RUCKUS tells you the day it notices, not on Friday.
- Underperformance against the pace the budget needs.
- Clipper misconduct, a rejection dispute, or a brand dispute.
- Silence from your side on a decision the campaign is waiting on.
- A disclosure breach, a fraud void, a rights claim, or an account ban.
Your time: about fifteen minutes a week, reading the Friday report and answering two questions when they come up. The review queue, the clipper questions and the checks are ours.
Run a campaign on your own account.
Your budget, your cap, your cancel button. Our brief, our clippers, our review queue, and a report of what happened.
