X for paid clips: turn on Paid Partnership and write a clear disclosure

X has a Paid Partnership setting. How RUCKUS uses it, writes a clear paid post, and tests a native clip without confusing views with earnings.

RUCKUS Studio · 18 September 2026 · 2 min read

Quick answer. X has a Paid Partnership control. Turn it on for a paid partnership and make the commercial relationship clear in the post itself.

Use the current disclosure setting

X requires organic paid partnership posts to enable the Paid Partnership disclosure in Content Disclosure settings. A creator remains responsible for the applicable advertising rules. Some industries have additional country restrictions, so the campaign needs a market and product check before recruitment. X Paid Partnerships Policy.

RUCKUS's house format is a clear opening such as “Ad · Paid partnership with [buyer]”, followed by the hook. Do not put the only explanation in a reply. A disclosure label is not a way to make an otherwise prohibited promotion acceptable.

Package a scene for this feed

Try two edits of authorized footage: a short conflict with a quick payoff, and a version with enough context to understand the player's decision. Treat ten to thirty seconds as a starting test, not an algorithm rule. Compare completion, replies that discuss the scene, profile visits and tracked destination clicks.

For an RP business, an opening could explain the problem: “The dealership sold the same car twice.” Then show the confrontation and its outcome. The audience should understand the scene without already knowing every character.

Upload your original export when the brief calls for native video. Keep text away from interface controls and make dialogue readable without sound. Avoid pretending a staged roleplay event is real-world news.

Keep the earnings separate

Campaign approval and X's own creator monetization are separate. Read the current campaign requirements for platform eligibility, gross rate, cap and payout conditions. This guide does not promise that a repost earns X revenue, or that a particular hook will reach a particular audience.

Submission check

Confirm the footage permission, brand name, disclosure setting, destination link and campaign deadline. Save the published URL. Report actual clicks and approved earnings separately from the visible view count.
